📝 Tips & Caveats for Visiting Pumpkin Patches
- Check for changes and early closures. Many farms adjust schedules based on crop availability, weather, or weekends-only operations.
- Arrive early. Popular patches like Cox Farms and Yankey Farms can have lines, and pumpkins go fast, especially on weekends.
- Bring your own wagon or cart. Some farms provide wagons, but others may expect you to bring or rent your own.
- Expect extra costs. Admission (if required), parking, special rides or attractions, and pumpkins are often priced separately.
- Dress for the weather & terrain. Many patches are on grass, dirt, or fields, which may become muddy.
- Respect farm rules. Some don’t allow pets, limit off-path walking, or have certain entry/exit protocols.
